Hello Mary, I am not a professional but I wanted to write a critique about your work.

First of all well done! Especially if this is only your second colored drawing.
I think the eyes are impeccable. They look like they are peering through you. Love them! The skin color is really good too and so is her hair including her eyebrows. I would only, if I were you, pick a side where the light comes from. Now her face is drawn with a lamp in front of her face without a lot of shadow. This makes her face a little flat. If you could picture yourself an imaginary lamp on the right or left side of her face the shadows that would appear would make it more realistic and more attractive to watch.
I also like how you captured the light in her lower lip but maybe it could be a little more. Remember, an upper lip is always darker than the lower lip, because the upper lip curls in, and the lower lip curls out.
A light on her whole face isn't a bad thing, but maybe then you could've given the background a little darker color so she would just pop up out of the darkness.

For a second attempt this is wonderful!
Over all a very good drawing I might say. The detailing is brilliant but try to be a little bolder with the light and shadow. A little will do wonders. Try it out. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="387" title=";) (Wink)"/>
